Paper Transport Vice President of Operations Wes Kornowske made an appearance last week on FreightWavesTV show, “Fuller Speed Ahead.” On the show, Kornowske discussed the company’s growth within the transportation industry along with its commitment to its Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Kornowske shares that ‘over the past 13 years, we’ve seen 15% annual growth, which has come in the form of driver growth, revenue growth or diversifying our business.’
Kornowske described PTI’s business structure as always forward-looking, noting that each truck has both smart tablets and outward- and inward-facing cameras. He added that 8% of PTI’s tractors are compressed natural gas-powered.
PTI operates both as an asset-based carrier and an intermodal marketing company through PTI Logistics, which serves as a truck brokerage as well.
