Powered by Dedicated Shipper Partnerships Driving Real Scope 3 Emissions Reductions
Paper Transport (PTI), a leading for-hire truckload carrier focused on decarbonizing freight, is proud to announce it has exceeded its 2025 goal of 5 million natural gas miles, achieving 5,365,231 miles powered by Renewable and Compressed Natural Gas (RNG/CNG) and directly supporting customers’ Scope 3 emissions reduction efforts.
This milestone represents more than a fuel alternative; it’s the result of seven long-term dedicated partnerships with shippers across retail, packaging, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries. These collaborative relationships, spanning the Midwest, Southeast, and Southern California, form the foundation of PTI’s ability to scale alternative fuel solutions.
“We don’t just run natural gas trucks—we build strategic, dedicated partnerships that make sustainable freight real,” said Jared Stedl, CCO of Paper Transport. “Our ability to exceed this goal is only possible because of our customers, who are invested in long-term emissions reduction and trust us with the freight that makes these operations scalable.”
Dedicated Freight: The Catalyst for Scalable Emissions Reductions
PTI began 2025 with 78,700,043 cumulative natural gas miles since 2010 and ended the year with 84,065,274 miles, bringing total displacement of diesel fuel to more than 13.6 million gallons.
This performance was made possible by:
- 7 dedicated freight partnerships enabling consistent asset utilization
- Strategic lane density across key U.S. regions
- Regional fueling infrastructure through fuel provider collaborations
- Commitment to maximizing trailer and route efficiency to further reduce emissions
By aligning dedicated transportation solutions with shippers’ sustainability goals, PTI delivers real, verifiable, and reportable tailpipe GHG reductions under Scope 3 accounting frameworks.
From Fuel to Footprint: Delivering on Scope 3 Reductions
PTI’s RNG-powered trucks can reduce lifecycle carbon emissions by up to 90% compared to diesel, creating a direct path to measurable Scope 3 reductions. Unlike offsets, these solutions are embedded within shipper supply chains and integrated into their carbon reporting systems.
“Reducing emissions in freight takes more than fuel—it takes commitment,” said Tyler Ellison, CEO of Paper Transport. “We’re proud to provide a proven model for shippers who want to embed sustainability into their transportation, not just their marketing decks.”
A Trusted Partner for Sustainable Freight Strategy
PTI’s dedicated-fleet model allows shippers to balance service performance with environmental progress, making the transition to alternative fuels seamless and cost-effective. With a focus on operational excellence and flexible, data-driven reporting, PTI provides:
- Scalable RNG and CNG deployment tied to real freight networks
