Giving back to the community is something that Paper Transport, Inc. has been involved in since the year the company was founded in 1990 by Roger Grimsely and Lennie Shefchik in Green Bay, WI.
PTI’s community outreach efforts have always been focused on supporting organizations that provide services and resources directly to families and individuals, making sure they have the things they need to survive. At the beginning, this meant donating to organizations like Paul’s Pantry and the Salvation Army near company headquarters in Wisconsin. Today, we’ve been given the opportunity to give back people in other communities with the addition of new PTI park locations/terminals throughout the Midwest and Southern United States.
Our goal is to help people in the communities where we’re located. Together, we can keep everyone moving forward in the right direction.
Some of the organizations and causes that PTI has supported include:
- American Red Cross
- Paul’s Pantry
- Natural Disaster Support
- Habitat For Humanity
- The Salvation Army
- Truckers Against Trafficking
- Freedom House
- Boys & Girls Club (Green Bay, WI; Milwaukee, WI; Jacksonville, FL)
- House of Hope
- NEW Community Shelter
- CP Center
PTI team members donate money to a local Green Bay organization after a company fundraiser.
