Green Bay Community Welcomes Paper Transport to Downtown Green Bay

The city of Green Bay rolled out a warm welcome to Paper Transport at its new office space in the Rail Yard Innovation District Wednesday afternoon. Green Bay community members attended a open house held at Base Companies Urban Hub.

With the company employing over 900 truck drivers and 200 office workers, Paper Transport was eager to expand in the downtown Green Bay area. This added location will help Paper Transport’s goal to be a Green Bay community-based employer.

In attendance of Paper Transport’s open house was the mayor of Green Bay, Eric Genrich, members of the Greater Green Bay Chamber, Base Companies employees, and many neighboring business employers in the Downtown Green Bay area.

Apart from the new office on N. Broadway, Paper Transport will be renovating the former Larsen Canning Company building in the Railyard District of Green Bay.

Paper Transport has several terminal locations in Neenah, WI; Caledonia, WI; Muskogee, OK; Jacksonville, FL; Albany, GA; Pontoon Beach, IL; and Huber Heights, OH. Paper Transport’s corporate headquarters will continue to remain at the Mid Valley location in De Pere to best service Class A CDL Truck Driver-based operations teams, and has no intention on leaving the Northeastern Wisconsin area.

Paper Transport would like to thank Base Companies, The Greater Green Bay Chamber, and the Green Bay community for the support.

Special thanks to Becky Davies, Eric Genrich, Ben Schill, Paul Belschner, and Troy Streckenbach for speaking at the open house.
