PTI Talks Natural Gas At Chicago Board of Trade Conference

Green Bay, WI – Paper Transport, Inc (PTI) president, Jeff Shefchik, presented on April 8 at the Chicago Board of Trade’s conference – New Access to Energy. The meeting, held in Detroit, MI, focused on the developing manufacturing opportunities in the US. PTI has been a leader in deploying natural gas powered tractor trailers over the last three years.

PTI’s presentation “Will Natural Gas change the Long-Haul Transportation Model?” focused on motivators for choosing Natural Gas such as environmental and sustainable solutions, as well as the economics of natural gas vs. diesel, as well as the effects of CNG on transportation costs. Shefchik noted, “Natural gas has been a win for us and our customers this far. We expect that to be the case into the future. He also shared PTI’s vision for natural gas and how the company will continue to strive as market leaders and develop new business opportunities related to CNG.

The conference focused how the development of new energy options in America is driving manufacturing business.
