Why Montrell Edwards?
Wisconsin-based employer and for-hire truckload carrier Paper Transport is proud to announce that professional driver Montrell Edwards is the 2020 KBX Logistics Driver of the Year. In 2020, Edwards had over 117,000 miles with zero preventable incidents or accidents, achieved a 100% on-time delivery score, and consistently achieved 8.5 mpg.
“Montrell is the embodiment of what it means to work for Paper Transport,” said Matt Christianson, Paper Transport director of operations. “Montrell always has a positive attitude and is looking to help. He is described as being the “captain” of his ship and acts like he is the owner of his truck and runs it with the same passion.”
There For His Customers
Edwards has been a professional Class A CDL truck driver with Paper Transport for the past 8 years and has been driving on the GP Dedicated fleet.
“Montrell continuously exceeds expectations while being a major promoter of our people-first culture,” said Wes Kornowske, VP of operations. “His professionalism and positive attitude are contagious. As a company, we are immensely proud of our professional drivers and Montrell makes us all better. This award couldn’t go to a more deserving team member.”
